How a project runs
How we survey and build the network
1. List what the network must cover
We record the work areas, devices, apps, shift patterns and known faults. A pick aisle, freezer and outdoor dock each need different checks.
2. Survey and design
We measure coverage, interference, roaming and capacity where devices are used. For a new site, survey and design work helps set access point locations, antennas, channels, switching and cabling.
3. Install and check
We install and commission the network, then test it where staff use their devices and at the same working height.

We agree the deliverables before work starts. These can include the design, access point and cabling plans, survey results, test results and network settings.

Common questions
What is an RF site survey and do we need one?
An RF (radio frequency) site survey measures how wireless signal actually behaves in your building — around racking, stock, machinery and coolrooms. If scanners drop connection in certain aisles or devices roam poorly between access points, a survey is the first step. We run predictive surveys for new builds and on-site AP-on-a-stick surveys for existing facilities, captured and validated in Ekahau, and you receive the heatmaps and measurement data at the end.
Why does our warehouse Wi-Fi drop out when racking is full?
Stock density changes how signal propagates — a design that worked in an empty shed often fails at full capacity. Metal racking, palletised goods and forklifts reflect and absorb RF differently. We design for worst-case loading, with proper AP placement, antenna selection and channel planning so coverage holds year-round.
Can you work around our operations without stopping the warehouse?
Yes. Most of our installation work is scheduled around shifts — nights, weekends or aisle-by-aisle staging — and cutovers are planned so scanning operations never lose coverage. We regularly deliver in live 24/7 DCs.
Do you support cold storage and freezer environments?
We design and install for coolrooms and blast freezers, using rated enclosures, appropriate antennas and condensation-aware mounting. Cold storage is one of the hardest RF environments, and one of our specialties.
Which wireless vendors do you install?
We are partnered with HPE Aruba Networking and Ubiquiti, and also deploy Cisco and other enterprise platforms. We recommend based on your scale, budget and device fleet — not on a single brand allegiance.
