These terms apply to every order placed through this store. Please read them
before you buy. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who you are buying from
The seller is Sonar Technologies International Pty Ltd, ABN 69 615 252 143,
trading as SonarNext. Our contact details are on our Contact page and at the
bottom of every page.
2. Where we sell
We sell to customers in Australia and deliver to Australian addresses only.
We do not accept orders for delivery outside Australia.
3. Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery is charged
separately and is shown in the cart and at checkout before you pay. We issue a
tax invoice for every order.
Prices can change without notice. The price that applies to your order is
the price shown at the time you place it.
4. Product information
Product descriptions, specifications, images and stock levels come from our
suppliers and manufacturers and are kept as accurate as we reasonably can. Some
details — packaging, accessories included, or a manufacturer’s revision — can
change without notice. If a product’s specification matters to your decision,
ask us before you order and we will confirm it in writing.
5. Placing and accepting an order
When you place an order, we send you an order confirmation. That confirmation
acknowledges your order; it is not our acceptance of it. A contract is formed
when we dispatch the goods, or when we tell you we have accepted the order,
whichever happens first.
We may decline an order, or part of one, before that point — for example if
the item is no longer available, if we cannot deliver to the address, if the
payment cannot be verified, or if the listed price was obviously wrong. If we
decline an order you have paid for, we refund it in full and promptly. We do
not use this clause to escape a price we can honour simply because it turned
out to be unprofitable.
6. Payment
We accept card payments through Stripe and bank transfer. Any wallet or
other payment options available for your order are shown at checkout. Online
payments are taken when you place your order. Payment credentials go directly
to the selected payment provider and are not stored on our systems — see our
Privacy Policy.
If you choose bank transfer, placing your order does not take a payment.
The order is placed on hold while we review it and send an invoice with our
bank-transfer details. Stock is reserved while the order is on hold. We
confirm payment after the funds have cleared and do not dispatch unpaid
orders. Please contact us if you need to cancel an unpaid order.
Orders are screened for fraud. If an order is held for review, we do not
dispatch it until the review is resolved. We will contact you if we need to
verify anything, and we will never ask you for your full card number, security
code or password. If a review cannot be resolved, we cancel the order and
refund the payment in full.
7. Availability and dispatch
Items marked In stock are dispatched from our supplier’s
warehouse. Items marked Available to order are not held in
stock: dispatch is typically 3–7 business days and is confirmed after you
order. Dispatch and delivery timing is set out on our Shipping & Delivery
page.
If an item you have paid for turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you
and you can choose to wait, take an alternative, or have that part of the order
refunded.
8. Quote-only products
Some products cannot be bought through the checkout and are offered by quote.
A quote states the price, the quantity, what is included and how long the quote
is open. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote.
9. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery charges and options are on our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk in
the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment
in full.
10. Returns, warranty and your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those
guarantees, or any other right you have under a law that cannot be excluded by
agreement. Our Returns & Warranty page explains those rights and how to make
a claim.
11. Our liability
This clause applies only to the extent the law allows it to. It does not
apply to, and does not limit, our liability under the consumer guarantees or
any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a
consumer guarantee in respect of goods that are not of a kind ordinarily
acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability is limited to
replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or paying
the cost of doing one of those things.
12. Using this site
You may use this site to browse and buy for your own or your organisation’s
purposes. Do not scrape it, resell its content, or use it in a way that
interferes with its operation or with other people’s use of it. Product content
and images on this site belong to us or to our suppliers and manufacturers and
are used with permission.
13. Accounts
If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us if you
think someone else has used it. You are responsible for orders placed through
your account.
14. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones
published when you place it. We keep the date of the last change at the bottom
of this page.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the
courts of that state have jurisdiction. This does not take away any right you
have to bring a claim where you live.
