We review the plan before construction locks in the expensive decisions: comms room location and size, cable pathways, floor boxes, power and cooling, wireless coverage and meeting-room layouts.
SonarNext then turns the agreed design into a documented trade scope and works with the builder, electrician, architect and service providers throughout delivery. Questions are resolved in site meetings, not at practical completion.

Where the project includes a move, we build the new environment in parallel and test it before the old office closes. Internet services, firewall rules, Wi-Fi, printers, meeting rooms and priority desks are proven ahead of the move window.
The cutover runs from a written sequence with owners, timings and a fallback for every critical dependency. Engineers stay on the floor for opening morning to resolve the small issues that only appear when the whole team logs in.

Questions we get asked
What is included in an office IT fit-out?
A typical fit-out includes structured cabling and fibre, comms room and rack build, switching, firewall and internet services, Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, printers and desk setup. We coordinate CCTV and door-access networking too, then provide tested as-built documentation.
When should we involve SonarNext?
Ideally at floor-plan stage, before ceilings close and joinery is ordered. Early input lets us confirm cabling paths, comms room space, power, cooling, Wi-Fi locations and meeting-room requirements while changes are still inexpensive.
Do you coordinate with our builder and electrician?
Yes. We attend project meetings, work to the construction programme and coordinate pathways, power, access and sequencing with the builder, electrician, architect and other trades.
Can you manage our office relocation as well as the new fit-out?
Yes. We pre-build and test the new site, coordinate service cutovers, move or replace equipment, and place engineers on site for opening day. The usual target is a Friday shutdown and normal work on Monday.
Are your data cablers licensed?
Yes. Cabling is installed by licensed cablers and every in-scope run is tested, labelled and included in the handover records.
How do you make sure the office Wi-Fi will work?
Access-point placement starts with the floor plan and expected device load, then the installed network is validated on site. We correct coverage or roaming issues before practical completion rather than leaving staff to discover them later.
Can you support the office after handover?
Yes. SonarNext can provide ongoing managed IT, monitoring and helpdesk support, or hand the completed environment to your internal team or incumbent provider with the documentation needed to support it.
