Description
The HP Engage 2D G2 is a corded 1D/2D barcode scanner for retail point of sale, in Ebony Black. It reads printed barcodes as well as mobile wallets and digital coupons on customer phones, and works handheld or in presentation mode on the included stand.
It uses a 1280 x 800 global-shutter CMOS imager with white LED illumination and a red laser aimer, and reads 1D, 2D, postal and OCR symbologies. The housing is sealed to IP42 and rated for 1.2 m drops. It measures 160 x 44 x 33 mm and weighs 130 g.
It connects over USB-A with an attached 1.8 m cable and is compatible with HP Retail and Industry Solutions systems.
